Isabelle's mother labored from sun up till sun down, struggling with every fiber of her being to bring her children into the world. Ever a steady constant, her husband Jack stood by her side, speaking words of love and comfort while offering a hand against the endless sea of pain. At long last she gave her last push, the pain ebbing as two distinct wails echoed around the white walls of the room. Wringing wet with sweat and utterly exhausted she took the two babes in her arms, a little boy and a little girl, smiling down at their perfect little faces with tears in her eyes. Even as she held the two lives she had helped create her own was slipping away, complications mixed with the extended labor taking its toll on her body until her heart finally gave out.

Issabelle and Travis Lancaster (King) were born on May 9, 1994 the first pair of twins that the California witch clan had ever seen. The Lancaster's had been a prominent family within the clan for nearly 4 generations, their positions as leaders and dignitaries within the community were uncontested. They came from old money, their fortune traced back to the California Gold Rush in 1848 where their grandfather had panned a small fortune from the rivers. Using the money he traveled south settling on a large piece of property where he seeded grapes and harvested wine by the case. Through his efforts that area would come to be known as Napa Valley, the Golden King Vineyard the most prominent and successful among them.

Over time other Initia had gathered and settled down there, creating a safe community for their kind away from any and all strife that other clans had to contend with. Jack King carried on his family traditions proudly, despite his heartbreak he brought his children home and raised them in the best way he could, teaching them the old family traditions and educating them in their heritage. The clan came to adore the twins, their curious and outgoing nature's making it easy to love them.

Issabelle quickly established herself as the more outspoken of the two, often being the mouthpiece of the pair. Travis was more reserved though his connection with his sister ran deep, the pair were joined at the hip up until they turned 5. At the age of 5 Travis started showing signs of gaining his power, discovering his control over fire quite by accident. While his father was proud it was evident that he had wanted his son to specialize in Earth with the rest of the family. Even more disappointing was that little Claudia didn't show any signs of gaining a power at all.

As a result their father became more withdrawn from his children, providing for them but never taking an interest past that. Issabelle was happy for her brother despite her apparent status as a human, she'd sit and watch him train with the fire specialists amazed at how quickly he picked things up. While he trained Issabelle taught herself, reading every book she could get her hands on as well as tinkering with technology and machinery. The little wiz was able to fix, repair, and upgrade equipment for the vineyards, quietly contributing to their legacy even if it wasn't in the way her father wanted.

On their 7th birthday Issabelle got up early and fixed a special breakfast for herself and her brother complete with all their favorite foods. Ever since learning that his children weren't taking after the family name he instead focused the day on the loss of his wife, not paying his children any mind. As Issabelle pushed through the door she was greeted with her brother's bare back, angry red lines snaking across his shoulder blades before he quickly covered them with a shirt. Thinking he had been abused or beaten the little girl nearly went into a rage, her brother's calm interference the only thing that kept her in check.

She listened intently to his explanation, the fear that he would be found out evident in his voice. They had grown up hearing horror stories about the Phoenix abominations, the scourge of the Witches that needed to be eradicated at all costs. Travis was struggling to keep his powers in check, to make it look as if he had less ability than he really did. A fierce protectiveness bubbled up in the young girl, swearing that day to help keep her brother and his secret safe.

From then on they proceeded with caution, little Issabelle constantly looking out for her brother especially at home under the watchful eye of their father. As careful as Travis was the fire of a Phoenix burned hot, the fire specialist wondering how a boy of such a tender age could master the things he was. In response Issabelle became ever more impulsive, acting out in order to draw attention to herself and away from her brother. Her antics quickly gained her the label "brat" though she wore it proudly. She took her role even further, developing into a punk rock outlaw that was sarcastic and dry to the extreme. Her antics kept things focused on her instead of her dear brother.

When the twins hit 10 their father remarried and nine months later had another daughter, Myka. Jack doted on his youngest daughter, who showed signs of her Earth abilities almost immediately further alienating his older children. What would have broken any other young minds only drew them closer together, Travis and Issabelle's bond growing deeper as they relied completely on each other. Even more amazing neither Myka nor the twins grew to resent one another, their father's favor only an unfortunate part of their lives.

They carried on as best they could, Travis struggling to keep his fiery secret while pulling his weight in the bookkeeping. Issabelle became a tech wiz, building websites while maintaining the equipment and becoming a skilled hacker in her spare time. Myka did most of the growing with their father, her skills as an Earth Witch raising her in rank quickly though she involved her half siblings in everything even at their father's insistence otherwise.

On their 18th birthday everything changed, the morning began same as it always did, Issabelle made them a big breakfast as the three King children sat down to enjoy. After Travis vibrated with a barely contained excitement excusing himself and Issabelle for a few hours. He dragged his curious sister out to the bluffs, proudly displaying his luminescent wings that glowed with deepest jade green she had ever seen. Filled with wonder and delight she watched as her brother took his first flight, dipping and gliding over the landscape with ease.

Upon their return hours later their father was waiting, his suspicion having led him to following his children on their jaunt to the coast. Anger and disgust was written all over his face as he stared at Travis hurling all sorts of curses upon the young adult. An anger built up in both siblings as the murmur of the clan escalated around them like the buzzing of an angry beehive. The clan seemed split on the matter, many believing that they were above such prejudices while the other half was determined to destroy the species. Much to everyone's surprise Myka stepped forward trying to quell the rising tide of hate that Jack was trying to stir up, earning her a punch to the face from the man who had adored her from birth.

It was in that moment that chaos ensued, the vindictive half of the clan attacking poor Travis and the twins themselves exploded into violence. Issabelle's normally warm chocolate eyes glazed over to pure white, an icy blast of air rolling out in front of her. In counterpoint Travis erupted into dark green flames, steam hissed wildly as extreme heat mingled with intense cold, the twins wiping out every threat that came at them including their father. Confused and scared Travis swept his sister into his arms and took to the skies, flying away from the devastation and hatred they had wrought.

The pair ended up somewhere in the Canadian wilderness, in a small town that they could blend into. Issabelle's usually flippant demeanor was gone as she tried to process just what it is she had done. She'd never heard of an Witch being able to control ice as she had, and the idea of having killed her father was tough to swallow. That night they slept fitfully, nightmares plaguing their minds till rest was but a distant memory. When dawn broke news of what they had done was spreading, a short voice message from Myka confirming they were wanted fugitives and that they should stay away. Both Issabelle and Travis agreed that staying together presented too much a risk that together they would be spotted but alone they would have more of a chance to start over.

With lots of tears Issabelle left her brother, promising that if she found a safe place she would send for him. For the next few years she traveled around, her skills as a hacker getting her the money she needed to survive. Eventually with her technical skills she was recruited by the FBI as a private contractor, they paid her to break into systems and report their weaknesses. She was also paid by private companies to do much the same, while her status gave her free run of the net so long as she reported any suspicious activity to the right authorities.

She'd heard rumors of a place in Colorado that was home to all kinds of Supernatural beings and the lure of Evernore ( a novel i'ved called Cities of the Shifters) proved to be too much. The night she arrived a large comet came streaking across the sky, a searing heat blooming across her body till she passed out. When she woke the next morning she groggily made her way into the bathroom for a shower, grunting in pain as her head hit the top of the door frame, which way odd given her short stature. Frowning she looked at the ground only to realize she was floating.

Panicked she scrambled in midair before falling back to the ground with a loud thud. Scared beyond belief Issabelle sought help, meeting a young woman named Rosalyn. Rosalyn and her sisters were like herself, explaining that they were a different kind of Initia with a whole new set of abilities. They called themselves Privus or Empaths encompassing the variety of new elements that they could control. Ice and gravity had been gifted to the astounded Issabelle, her new found abilities bringing about a peace that was freeing to the mind.

She kept the majority of her past a secret, including the fact that she had a twin brother who was a Phoenix. She knew the prejudices ran deep though she didn't understand nor did she care. Issabelle enjoyed being around others of her kind and trained with them to master both her body and the abilities she had been gifted with. All the while she searched for her twin in secret, desperately needing her other half back.

Over the next year she worked, amassing a reputation as a technical wizard, hacker extraordinaire, while also looking for her brother who had disappeared and refused to come out of hiding. As they peace treaty was reaching its 6 month mark with a successful following Issabelle hopes to bring her brother to Evernore so that they may start their lives over. Together again.

From the moment her parents first looked at their beautiful baby girl, they knew she would be special and accomplish many things, leading a good life and even though most parents believed this about their children, Eleanor's parents just had a feeling it would be true. A few years after her birth, Eleanor was graced with a younger brother as her sibling and they grew inseparable whilst growing up; Eleanor feeling the need to protect her younger brother from any harm.

The Martin's were seen as a laid back family, helping the community they lived in, in any way they possibly could and this is how Eleanor grew up; helping anybody in need of it and including everyone her age in the games they played as young children. Being a bright spirited young girl, Eleanor quickly became friends with most children around her age in the village they lived in. It became obvious she was eager to learn when she attended school, only to come back and want to learn more about the world she lived in which is where her mother and father stepped in with telling her about the species they were part of.

Both easily fascinated the young girl and soon enough, she was infatuated with the idea of becoming either a Fae or Initia and was wanting to learn as much as she could about the histories of both and many others once it came to learning about the other species that also occupied the world they lived in. So it came to be that she would go to school, learn about the normal world there and the lessons that were taught in every school before returning home where she would do any homework she'd been giving and then if she had the chance, Eleanor would play with her friends for a while before returning home and then beginning her lessons on the Initia and Fae.

During the time spent with her mother, she and Eleanor found many ways to make Eleanor's learning interesting; this varying from interesting pieces of artwork drawn by the generations of Initia before them to showing Eleanor just exactly what she could do with an element which being the little girl Eleanor was, became fascinated with. Eleanor cherished all the time she spent with her mother and even though it was spent learning more most of the time, she enjoyed every moment and all the time they spent together, they grew closer. Closer than Eleanor ever was to her father and although some outside the family may have viewed it just being a 'mother daughter' thing, they knew differently. They weren't just mother and daughter, they grew to be best friends.

From an early age, Eleanor had developed a love for reading books, whether they be science fiction and fantasy to crime and thriller. She would beg her mother to read to her every night before she went to sleep, loving the calming tone of her mother's voice that lulled her into a deep sleep. This created even more of a strong connection with her mother, spending much time together; whether it be learning or just generally having fun and playing around like the child Eleanor was and like the child her mother truly was on the inside.
became obvious that her love for reading had also given Eleanor the great skill of writing which became obvious in the time when writing a creative piece for a school book. This, Eleanor was pleased about as now she aspired to take that skill and use it to inspire many other generations just like many had before her.

Eleanor's life continued how it was for many years; she was persistent in learning at school and continued her studies from home as well, eager to do well in her life just like her parents dreamed of her doing. Though that all came to a sudden end a month after Eleanor's twelfth birthday; a day in which she would never forget. An incident happened, involving both Eleanor and her mother as a drunk driver swerved onto their side of the road and right into the car as they were driving.

Her mother hadn't been quick enough to change the direction the car was going in time to miss the other car with little injuries, instead heading into a side on collision. Eleanor, who had been sat next to her mother in the front, screamed in terror at the impact. Her screams rang out at the pain that coursed through her body from the impact of the crash and at the sight of her mother next to her who was telling her told on when she was barely holding on herself. By the time paramedics had made it to the scene, her mother was long gone and un-savable; which the younger more immature version of Eleanor didn't want to believe.

Being injured from the impact, Eleanor was rushed to the hospital as soon as they had her out of the car safely. They assessed her to find any wounds, discovering she had a broken wrist as well as a few broken and fractured ribs with small cuts across her body from the smashed glass of the windows. As soon as they reached the hospital, Eleanor was taken in for x-ray tests on her arm and ribs before she was finally placed in a room with a kind nurse cleaning the cuts with a disinfectant and wiping the blood away, telling her it would be alright when deep down, Eleanor knew she would never be alright again.

It was hard for Eleanor to take the news once she was told about her mother by her father, taking and feeling the loss close to heart, feeling like a piece of her was missing. A piece of her was missing and that piece would always be missing. The piece that her mother filled with love and happiness was gone, all that was left being an empty shell of what was once a small happy child. She didn't want to believe it, not one bit. She didn't want to believe that her mother, her best friend was gone once and for all. Once Eleanor was allowed to leave the hospital, she returned to her home in the small village with her father and brother, the loss of her mother still heavy in her heart and mind.
her deaths had a huge impact on Eleanor, especially at the age she was and seeing her mother die before her eyes whilst telling her to hold on. It's nothing somebody should ever witness, especially at a young age. Eleanor had eventually gotten use to the looks of sympathy and guilt that showed in people's eyes whenever they would talk to her and although the loss still pained her, she was slowly healing and just wanted everyone to leave her alone so she could heal in her own time. She turned to her books, the books her mother read to her as a child and found comfort in them, knowing that although her mother wasn't there with her in person; she would always have a space in Eleanor's heart and that is where she would stay.

For months on end, Eleanor was do the same daily routine. She would wake, eat with her father and brother before going to school. She would then come home and complete her homework before doing any extra studying and eating dinner with them before returning to her room and locking herself away, burying herself in the books her mother once read aloud to her during the many nights of her childhood. It was beginning to worry her father and the rest of her family. Worrying that she would never come out of the state she was in, almost as if she was stuck on the same setting. Stuck on repeat.

Although Eleanor didn't function normally like she used to, she still excelled in school and did better than ever, having studied plenty at home of both her level of work and the levels above in which helped her achieve the highest grades where she was then moved up to the next level. She may have not been the same person at that time but she still had dreams to aspire to, in which she knew she couldn't shut away the world completely. She still had her whole life ahead of her in which she planned to do something with.

During one summer after her fifteenth birthday, the day started out normal. Eleanor was reading in her room as she usually did but that soon changed very quickly. It started out as a small itch on the middle of her back which soon grew into a tingling sensation that spread over her lower back. Eleanor didn't know what was happening, having never been told by her mother what actually happened during the process of getting the tattoo of the Initia tribe. Shaking off the tingling sensation that was occuring on her back, Eleanor picked up her book once again and began to read; though continuously kept losing her concentration from reaching behind her to itch at the spot on her back.

Soon enough after losing her concentration on the book for the fifth time, Eleanor gave up on trying to read and put the book down which is when it started. A burning feeling ran across her back making her cry out in pain at the stinging which only drew her father's attention. At the sound of him running into her room, Eleanor let the few tears in her eyes drip down her face and onto the wooden floor from the throbbing feeling on her lower back. It didn't take long for her father to realise that it was the tribal tattoo of the Initia that was burning itself across her back.
dn't shock him when he saw the very familiar design of the tribal tattoo of the Initia on her skin. She was more like her mother than she knew and it just proved that thought from the tattoo that proved who she was. When Eleanor saw the intricate design of the tattoo on her back, she instantly knew what it meant and a smile etched its way onto her face as the memories of her mother came back to her; the memories where her mother would cheer her up by making pretty flowers grow up her wall.

Just seeing the tattoo put a smile on her face at the realisation that she had a piece of her mother back and that she would always have that piece with her, until she took her last breath on this Earth. It was then that Eleanor became aware of the fact that even though her mother was gone, she would always live on in their hearts and the memories they preserved of her time with them. She now understood that her mother wouldn't want her to continue to on how she has been, hiding herself away so she could try deal with the pain by herself when really, all she needed was her family by her side and she knew that now.

Everyone could immediately see the change in Eleanor and although they would never truly know the truth about the Martin family and the species they were surrounded by, they were just happy to see her happy once more. Continuing on with a new found motivation, Eleanor pushed through the rest of her years at school and ended up graduating earlier than she expected with her extra studying. With the best grades she could've gotten, Eleanor was pleased with what she had done during her school years and knowing just exactly what she wanted to do, Eleanor made the decision to leave her home in Ireland to travel and make use of her writing skills.

It was on the day of her eighteenth birthday in 1972, when Eleanor woke to her father and brother that she knew that day had come, though not only for the reason of her career calling her name. For generations in her family through her mother's side, a necklace had been passed and passed on through the eldest daughter of the family on their eighteenth birthday and it was now Eleanor's turn to take the necklace and continue the legacy by keeping the necklace before passing it on once more when the time came. Eleanor felt that it was an honour to wear the necklace many before her had worn and she knew with no doubt, that she would cherish the necklace and wear it with pride, just as her mother had.

A few weeks after her eighteenth birthday, Eleanor had left her home in Ireland with the money she had saved up from over the years, with the plan to tour around the United States, hoping that along the way she will find enough inspiration for her books to last her a life time and knowing subconsciously that along the way, she will find more than just inspiration for her stories. Packing up everything she needed, Eleanor bid a farewell to her father and brothers before she headed away from the quaint village in Ireland and towards a new start. She had heard before that there was a city the supernatural lived in. Evermore City, Colorado or rightly nicknamed the Eternal City had caught her interest straight off and Eleanor knew that this city, would be her first stop of hopefully many to come.
ssing around with each other like actual siblings would do. The more time they spent together, the more they grew closer to each other and it stayed that way until Elliot had to leave Evermore City with the news of his mother being in a fatal accident. They both promised that they wouldn't forget the other and Eleanor knew she would keep that promise, not wanting to forget the brother figure he'd come to be during their time of knowing one another.

It wasn't long after Elliot had left that Eleanor soon became weary of Evermore City. She could feel the tension beginning to rise amongst the species there and she knew deep down, that the feuding between the species there wouldn't end easily so she made the decision to leave and move on to her next destination. Eleanor held hopes that the supernatural beings of Evermore City would find peace amongst themselves and that it the city would return to how it once was but Eleanor had her doubts too. She just hoped that the brother Elliot had come to be, would be safe if he ever returned there.

It was amongst her travels in the States that Eleanor had come across several rumours of there being an Island where the species had peace with one another and where they aimed to create peace elsewhere in the world. The idea fascinated Eleanor and being the curious person she was, the young Initia decided to head back home to Ireland for a brief visit before heading off once again. Though this time, not in aim for an adventure. This time, she was aiming to find peace and be accepted amongst these people who wanted the same as she did.

Eleanor's visit home had been short and brief, only staying for a week where she took the chance to find any information she could in books for this Isle of Skye she had heard about. She couldn't find much information, taking it that this organisation was very secretive and on the down low to outsiders. Ending her stay in the village she called home, Eleanor's curiosity ended up getting the better of her as she left Ireland and in the direction of the Isle of Skye where she hoped, soon enough she would get the answers she was looking for and hopefully, to pledge herself to their cause.

At first, the Initia hadn't realised she had reached the Isle of Skye until after she had crossed the protective barrier that protected the Island, proving herself to have pure intentions as she did so. She'd surprised herself at first, not wanting to believe all that was in front of her but she soon realised it was all real when she ventured further into the island. She had soon been discovered by one of the Ailward Guards as they had called themselves before being taken to the Aspects where she would swear to the oath that embodied and promising to do her best in aiding their cause, which without doubt, Eleanor would promise to do one hundred percent.
about the ways of the Aspects and the Guards, becoming close friends with many of them and joining the family of the Ailwards; both Guards and Aspects alike. She felt at home with them, like they truly had become her family, which they had.

Years had gone by with training and continuing to learn, as well as helping the Guards in the missions they had to help make peace in many areas outside of the Isle of Skye which is where Eleanor proved herself as a loyal Ailward Guard. She moved up the ranks and after years of hard work, Eleanor became the Commander of the Ailward Guard where she took the job just as serious as she had before being the Commander. She was no different from anyone else and continued on just the way she had before, though this time she had more to attend to.

It was a few years after becoming Commander that Eleanor heard of a newcomer to the Guard and she usually did, she went to greet and welcome them to the Guard but as soon as she saw who it was, Eleanor couldn't help but question herself whether it was really the person who had become a brother to her or whether it was someone else. Her question was soon answered when he saw her, though it wasn't a happy reunion between two close friends as some would imagine.

It was soon after Elliot had arrived that he found Eleanor and told her he needed to speak with her immediately about something important. Eleanor could tell he was nervous about what he had to tell her and she reassured him that everything would be okay though as soon as the words left his mouth, she had no words to say to him. Elliot could tell she was shocked from the news he told her and she had the right to be. Finding out you had a half brother you never knew about was definitely something to be surprised over though Eleanor grew to the idea of having another sibling.

Many years later was when the Guard acted on what was happening in Evermore City as the tension continued to grow between the species. The Guards and the Aspects had moved to the city to keep a close eye on the things that happened there and it was then that Eleanor seriously hoped that the Guard would make a difference there in the City. Where they would achieve their goal in making peace for the supernatural world. Spoiler coming soon

Odessa, a russian born young woman was born in a time where there secrets and lies were the norm, and were withheld and told in every sentence someone spoke. She was brought up in a life where it deemed okay to lie to your loved ones, stab them in the back even. Both of Odessa's parents worked for the government, her father a general in its army and her mother the brains behind the operations, or at least that was her father said. Little did Odessa know that it was her mother which created the devices to kill hundreds and maybe even thousands of people who 'stepped' out of line. Would Odessa have even been appalled? She didn't know because that was the only life she knew and even that was a lie.

From an early age she was taught to fight, she was taught how to defend herself and how to kill. She had weapons upon weapons at her disposal and because she was so athletic and versatile she became accomplished with all of them. She had a skill for the lessons her parents and many others were teaching her, she fought in competitions, she fought against some of the most accomplished men in the Russian army and still won. She was a marvel to them, or maybe even an enemy, she wasn't sure. Odessa never knew that it down to her being a Dhampir that made her so accomplished, she didn't know how Dhampir's were created, let alone existed. Which meant she didn't know that her mother had an affair, unknowing that he was a Vampire. In hindsight there was little that Odessa knew, and if she were to look back on her life from the age in which she was now, she might realize how naive she had been growing up.

Odessa's life was had a routine, wake, train, shower, breakfast, school, train and then sleep. That was it over and over again everyday, never any breaks not even on the weekends. For 18 years that was how it continued, she had no control over her life, she had no friends, never a lover - Never any freedom. Then the day of Odessa's 18th birthday, which should have been a day of celebration and quite possibly freedom, but Odessa couldn't have been more wrong.

When she woke on the morning of her 18th birthday, she knew something was wrong when there was a light light from from under the covers of her bed. When she pulled her hands out to push the covers away, she realized what the light was; her. Her hands were glowing, or well the markings on her hands were glowing. She screamed and screamed, drawing the attention of her parents. Upon finding her they were stunned, her father frozen in place, but her mother treated her like a marvel. Asking her questions twisting and looking trying to see if it was some trick. After a while the light went however the markings on her hands took longer to vanish, but they eventually and when they gone she was 'normal'. Though her mother was having none of it and dragged her to the labs she worked in. Odessa was put into a white room and that white room became her home for the 62 years. She never saw outside the room, blood was taken daily, sometimes more and tests after tests were ran. They did things to her, cut her, hurt her and then studied how she would heal. They knew she wasn't human and her mother ran the tests and thought of new ones. Mothers were were meant to protect their children, not turn them into lab rats.

As Odessa grew older she became even more fascinating as she didn't age like everyone else, she was nearly 70 years old but barely looked a day over 35. Her mother had died a long while ago, murder by some extremist who had gotten into the building, Odessa didn't care, if he hadn't have done it she would have. They had turned her into a monster, they made her kill they had continued to train her give her things which made her head spin and and her heart beat faster. She would never forgive any of them. Then one afternoon there was someone new, a new scientist which had been assigned to her case, however in this man's presence Odessa's hands glowed once more, the first time on 62 years. Pure shock was in his face when he saw her and then anger, he was the first person to show Odessa any compassion.

Days later there was an attack on the labs and hundreds of people were killed, Odessa's hand never stopped glowing. She was freed from her cell and taken outside for the first time in 62 years. She was brought together with people who were just like her and others that were just ... special. Apparently the man which had been in the labs was a Vampire, and when in the presence of supernatural beings Runes will glow to alert their handler, but in Odessa's case her Weapon was her hands. She was the first Dhampir in centuries to have her weapon be her own body, there had only ever been stories of someone like her. She was more special then she realized, though Odessa didn't see it like. She had been subjected to hellish things in the labs, everything they could think of had been done to her and she would never forget it. She may not have the physical scars, but the scars would forever mark her memory.

Odessa found herself alone again, she pushed everyone away. Even the ones who had tried to help, she wasn't angry at them she was angry at what they were. If she had been normal, human she wouldn't have gone through everything she did. She would have been able to live her life and do whatever she wanted, but because she was Dhampir, something that was only in the story books her parents turned her into a lab rat. Odessa constantly wore gloves, she never took them off unless she was alone. She also found it surprising how many supernatural beings there were in the world and if it wasn't for her hands she would never have known. It gave her some hope that one day she might be able to lead a normal life.

Odessa spent a long time moving around, never really staying in one place for too long. People noticed things, even if they weren't sure what they were seeing, they knew something was up with her and it caused her trouble. So she moved again and again, heading further and West until she ended up in America, from there she worked her way down South and after so long of being alone she reached out. She found a Dhampir community there who took her in. Odessa was still bitter, she was cold and she didn't trust; however she found being in the presence of the Dhampir communit comforting. They also taught her how to use the Runes that would appear, they taught her what they mean and how to invoke them and what they could do. It was all oddly fascinating, even if it meant she could never remove her gloves.

After a few years they told her about a place, it was for the Supernatural, it was also a place she could be herself. It was even starting to become famous in the supernatural community after the comet hit it triggering changes in all the Supernatural species, people were travelling there from all over the world. Odessa couldn't help but be at least a bit curious.

Ivory Llewellyn was born the only child of Violet and Christopher Llewellyn, born into an aristocratic family, the young girl was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth and she rarely had to want for anything. Her childhood mostly consisted of being accompanied by nannies rather than her mother and father, Violet and Christopher worked very hard to earn and maintain the fortune of the family but it left very little time on their hands to care for their only daughter. Ivory however wasn't a needy child, from a very young age she understood the ways of life and instead of resenting her parents for their busy lives she learned to make the best of what she already had.

Throughout school Ivory worked hard to keep her grades high, she was an intelligent girl, she never really understood how she knew the answers to things, she just picked information up really easily and this mentality continued through her junior and high school years. After Ivory graduated from her high school she decided to follow her passion in medicine and took a scholarship at Harvard University on their medical program. Throughout her time at Harvard she kept regular contact with her friends and family back home, Ivory enjoyed attending college a lot and she allowed herself to let go a little from her perfect image, she went out partying with friends sometimes and even turned in a couple of late assignments, despite all that she eventually graduated from Harvard with a full degree and a world of prospects just waiting for her.

Ivory was only two weeks into her job at the Massachusetts general hospital when her life was changed drastically, she had been assigned her first patient she was allowed to care for without supervision and was performing a routine checkup when the patient became visibly distressed, demanding that she be discharged immediately before she killed everyone there, Ivory was confused by her words and in a flash moment she found herself getting bitten on the arm by the other woman which cause Ivory to collapse in sudden pain and then the woman ran off through the hospital, Ivory never saw her again but that night would forever be ingrained in her brain like no other.

Ivory got the bite on her wrist looked into by another doctor at the hospital and it was generally ruled that it would take a few weeks to heal however after sleeping the night after the incident she awoke to find nothing but pink welts against her skin where there had been an open wound just the day before. Confused Ivory had started to research every possibility, it started with simple strong immune systems and soon crossed into the realm of impossible, she couldn't explain what had happened to her with science and the very idea of that terrified her.

The following month it wasn't just the healing she noticed, she felt the like the world had slowed down and everything was moving in slow motion, she could react to things far faster than she should be able to and her strength was beyond the level that a human should possibly be able to hold. Ivory was confused and scared, no matter where and what she researched she couldn't figure out what was happening to her and she didn't dare discuss it at the hospital for fear of becoming a test subject, pulled apart to figure out the working of the impossible, Ivory chose to keep her mouth shut and to continue her life as normal.

Everything worked for the first couple of weeks and Ivory gained control over her new strengths and senses, she even found ways to use them to help her in her daily life and everything started to settle once more, the fear in the back of her mind slowly dulled until she rarely even thought about what had happened that night. That was until the full moon finally found it's way around again and Ivory found herself staring up at the pale moonlit sky before the pain began. It started in her legs and after a few moments she was unable to stand and the pain slowly spread upwards through her body, her legs feeling like they were being snapped and shrunk. Screaming in pain Ivory turned towards her mirror staring at her figure as she curled over in pain and looking back at her were her own eyes glowing bright blue like some kind of ghost and then she closed her eyes as she braced herself for the rest of the turn.

After 30 full minutes of agony she found herself numb, the pain was gone and when she opened her eyes to look back at the mirror once more she saw the figure of a white arctic fox with glowing blue eyes staring back. Hesitantly she took a few steps forwards and watched as the reflection moved too. Ivory spent the remainder of the night in the garden of her home, she couldn't leave her home for fear of someone seeing an arctic fox padding it's way through the streets of Boston but as she puzzled her way through the night she discovered that she could jump unfathomable heights, onto the roof of her own home if she wanted to and her tail was sharp as a razor, it could cut through anything she found in the garden like it was a sword.

When that long and exhausting night finally ended Ivory turned back to her human form, now without clothes she rushed back inside her home to try and process what had happened to her. Several months passed and with every full moon Ivory would prepare herself to turn into her fox form and once the night was through she would document her findings in a journal, she turned to lore and myths for research and eventually discovered the species of Kitsune, they were a kind of Therianthrope able to shift into the form a fox, they started with one tail and would eventually gain more as they aged.

With time Ivory came to accept what she was and each turn slowly became slightly less painful than the last, at the age of 27 she gained her second tail allowing her to cut in two different directions at once. Ivory had a relatively normal life in Boston but upon meeting another Kitsune named Percy she would discover that she was not just a normal Kitsune, she was an alpha Kitsune which meant that she was meant to not only be part of a pack but to lead one. Percy, an omega at the time of their meeting pledged to stay with Ivory and the two started the first pack in Boston and with time more and more betas joined the pack.

Boston eventually came to have three packs of Therianthropes, the Kitsunes, lead by Ivory, the Ailuranthropes, cat like creatures capable to creeping through the shadows and the most common kind of Therianthrope, Lycanthropes. The unfortunate truth however was that to humans, therianthropes would always appear as monsters, humans cursed with a fate worse than death and when the city's supernatural organization discovered the presence of the three packs they set in plan in motion to destroy them all. It started when the Lycanthrope house was burned to the ground, killing the alpha of the wolves and many of his betas. Ivory cared too much for her pack to allow them to reach the same fate over territory and so she lead them out of Boston in the dead of night, the Ailuranthrope pack joining them as they fled.

After 5 months of nomadic passing the Kitsune and Ailuranthrope clan decided that they needed to find a real home, a place they could be themselves without fear of being singled out as monsters. After hearing of the legendary eternal city, a place where all the supernatural live without fear of what they were, the two packs decided to split ways and meet in the city, there they planned to find their way to the lycanthrope faction which resided in the city and pledge an alliance, it was time Evermore City knew the full force of the Therianthrope species.

As for fur ones that may come over time.
